About Us

Founded in 1953 by Arthur Colella, located on Quinnipiac Avenue in New Haven for 27 years. In 1980, Art sold the business to his son, Sebastion (Sebi). In 1982, Sebi relocated the store to 274 State Street in North Haven. In 2001, Sebi sold the store to the current owner (Andy Ciaccio) and continued to work for the company for the next 4 years. In 2008, Art's broke ground on their new building at 92 State Street, and in 2009 moved into a substantially larger showroom, where they have continued to service the North Haven community with the same principles set forth in 1953. Offering free delivery, free set up and haul away on all basic appliances, Art's continues to grow while still treating every customer as family.
