Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy, and expensive and you probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Poor design and poor service

Submitted by WilliamTP - 3/23/2019

This range has a self-cleaning feature. However, when you run the self-clean, the thermostat blows and the entire unit shorts out. The first time we did this, we had to jump through hoops to get the repair completed because the range was one day beyond warranty. When it happened the second time in exactly the same way, Samsung wants us to pay for the repair. Obviously this is a faulty design if you cannot use an included feature. Not paying another cent for this poorly made range.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

Submitted by The Family Chef - 12/21/2018

I've only had my new stove for about a month now and so far it is AWESOME!!!! I love that I have the ability to bake different items at different temperatures with the double oven. The warming drawer came in handy on Thanksgiving as I was able to keep dishes warm while I finished cooking other items. It was a pretty pricey but if it holds up for several years, it'll be worth the expense.

Does Not Perform

Submitted by beatd - 12/3/2018

Samsung should stick to televisions. I am heartbroken over this purchase. The cooktop burners are awful, with a terrible flame, and everything burns. There is no true simmer, just heats the middle of the pan instead of simmer. There are hotspots in the oven as well and neither oven can hold a temperature. The temp drops during cooking, causing everything to either burn or be undercooked. The top oven is so short, you can barely fit a cookie sheet in there, and there is no bake option, just convection. This range looks stylish but does not perform. And the stainless steel is of very poor quality. Scratches with normal use and difficult to clean. If not, my steel has actually pitted. I've had this range less than 2 years. Should take it off the market. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

So far so (very) good

Submitted by Larchmont Chef - 11/11/2018

After 8 months of use we love this dual fuel range, particularly the gas cooktop (we converted from all electric) and the ability to use only the top oven which heats up super fast (just the two of us at home). The only "others" are 1) you cannot enter the dehydrate mode in the upper oven and 2) The control indicators are painted on, i wish there were raised nubs. Glass plus and windex scrubbed the indicators off our old fridgidare (albeit it took 15 years) so we are "soft damp cloth" on this one to take care of it. I saw a few negative reviews regarding Samsung quality so hedged my bets and purchased an extended service plan.

Good Purchase

Submitted by Elle100 - 11/3/2018

We replaced all our appliances in June 2018. I waited to write this review until we'd used them for a while. This appliance is sleek, beautiful and easy to clean. It replaced a typical stovetop oven so we are thrilled with its appearance. On the function side, the stovetop works well but has too many big burners that produce big fires which can easily be cut to little fires, however, the inbetween state is difficult to control or is non-existent due to the static physical manner in which each burner is configured. I work around it but I'd have preferred more control--like the old gas stoves gave us. The middle burner where the grill sits on top does not get hot enough under PROPANE gas to actually sear anything. It turns up really high, will cook a steak or chicken breast but doesn't get hot enough do to a proper job. I've decided that it's fairly worthless to use in such an application after several tries. Propane often does not get hot enough to perform well. Gas may be ok. Can't say. We have not used the ovens yet. Sorry I can't say about that. We use our toaster oven for most jobs. The digital panel is a bit confounding at first. Keep the manual close for a week or so. As well, the WIFI connection will not turn off as it states in the manual. It stays on no matter how many times it's clicked to OFF. I've checked our internet many times to confirm this fact. I DO NOT LIKE THAT as I'm never going to "call my stove" and it's generally intrusive and unnecessary. It also uses takes up mb from our costly provider package. Overall, I'm pleased enough to recommend the stove IF you don't have propane and don't mind your stove sending out signals to the world. (I need a way to stop that but have found nothing.)

Wonderful Range with one Glitch

Submitted by Rhapsody - 10/31/2018

We are now coming up on the one year point and have nothing but good things to say about this range. The burners distribute an even, perfect flame, and the heavy duty grates are easy to remove and clean. We did, though, find the temperature off by 25 degrees in the main cavity. This is easy to adjunct with an entry on the main control panel, but it only allows you to change the temperature for one oven. We chose to keep the large oven at a perfect temperature setting while accepting a -25 degree setting for the small, convection oven. This is no problem, as we always deduct 25 de3grees when we set the convection (top) oven.

Really like using this range!

Submitted by Enjoy cooking - 10/31/2018

I have used this oven for almost a year. The dual ovens are great! The convection feature works really well. The drawback for us is that we are not on natural gas, but on propane. I did not realize that it does not cook nearly as hot as natural gas. It makes the griddle in the middle worthless as it does not get hot enough. I would not have purchased this configuration had I been aware of this, but instead just have 5 burners. The other four burners work very well.

Not the Gem I thought

Submitted by karkee - 10/20/2018

I first saw this oven in a magazine and fell in love. It had everything I wanted. An amazing cook top and a double oven that can function as a double or larger single. I was impressed with the smaller upper oven because there is only two of us at home now and thought it would conserve energy. Well, the upper small oven is only convection and often burns things. Even though I have adjusted for the time and temp because it is a convention. When I want to bake cookies I take out the divider in hopes that the oven will be at the correct temp. NOT. It's 25 degrees less than it should be. If you use only the lower oven the same thing happens 25 degrees less . Once you figure all this out and make the proper adjustments i would say it's an OK range. I would not recommend it.

Would not buy again

Submitted by Goodcook10 - 10/1/2018

I bought this range just over a year ago, it fact it was delivered to my new home the end of August 2017. Moved in the end of September and have used it for less than 9 months (we were gone for 4 months) and now some of the buttons on the control panel won't work. Samsung was contacted and they said there are no service people in my area and cancelled my request to have it repaired. Now what am I suppose to do with a range that costs over $2500 and only a portion of the control panel works. So basically I CAN'T cook with any temperature with a 4 in it or use the light for the lower section of the oven. Sure wish I would have ordered different appliances. I bought the 4 door refrigerator, dishwasher and a microwave also. A side note ~ the top scratches easily too.

Not Quite There

Submitted by Chef499 - 9/28/2018

This oven seemed almost ideal for our needs, but it has been unreliable, and doesn't heat consistently. The broiler element failed within 2 years. The gas cooktop is generally good, but I had to modify a couple of the burners to make them produce even flames. In all, the quality is disappointing.

Stove top works great, Ovens are horrible.

Submitted by maddog453 - 9/19/2018

The burners are great. Only used the griddle once and it never gets hot. The ovens always say they are preheated when they get to 250, even if you set the temp at 350. Service replaced all of the oven components and when that didn't fix it they said it wasn't suppose to preheat to the selected temperature because it was saving energy! I checked and I don't have stupid on my forehead. Today trying to bake in the full oven at 350 the oven heated for over 45 minutes and only reached 325. Had to set it at 375 and 20 minutes later it reached 350. Yesterday we set the convection (top) oven at 450 and it never reached that in over an hour. You can't cook or bake in this oven without a LOT of time and a decent thermometer.

Cons 1. -Upper oven only convect so small oven not suitable for lots of baking 2. Center griddle too small never gets hot enough 3. Spatter, spatter everywhere on cooktop every time 4. Cannot get low enough for simmer 5. Multiple burner BTUs more pain than pro 6. Ovens cook unevenly from side to side 7. Cannot use both ovens at any temperature desired. Big Limitations!

Fantastic range

Submitted by retiredreacher - 12/30/2016

Bought this range as part of a kitchen remodel. This replaced a 12 year old smooth top electric convection stove. We had to run a gas line to the kitchen to accommodate the dual fuel part. The range looks and performs great. Love the ability to cook at 2 different oven temps. Never having a gas cook top before there was a learning curve but it didn't take long to appreciate the advantages of cooking with gas over electric. It's not cheap but you do get what you pay for, and more. This range is a great value over other makes with equal specs. If your looking for a dual fuel range you won't be disappointed.

Technologically advance range and oven which cooking made easy. Tried cooking 2 medium frozen pizza on the top oven and it cut total cooking time by 1/3 and all by eliminating the need to preheat the oven compared to old previous one I have. The excellent features of the dual oven and gorgeous touch screen make this oven a knockout. If you're not on a tight budget and like the idea of choosing one or two oven based on your needs, this might be an excellent option for you. I highly recommend this oven for its price.

My husband saw it in a magazine and showed me the ad. We decided it was exactly what we wanted. It would be our third oven in this home, fingers crossed. We did have to upgrade our electric. We were not aware of this, our previous ovens were gas convection. Just as well, it might have kept us from buying the dream. So far I love how it cooks and I love how it cleans up. I love the convenience of the duel ovens and I think I'm going to keep falling...

Incredible Versatility and Performance

Submitted by Beachnick - 7/1/2016

Well thought out. Precise burners; from simmer to a mind blowing high btu Wok burner. Center oval great for large pots, grill or griddle. The dual oven cooks evenly and pre-heats in a flash. Great capacity for using whole oven or with insert just the upper. Easy to use intuitive controls. Surfaces clean easily. Coming from a culinary background, I see this as a perfect solution for home use.

Much like a Wolf, at a fraction of the cost

Submitted by ScottBr - 5/17/2016

We're serious cooks and we wanted a serious range. This one qualifies, although it was not trouble-free. A few days after installation, the electronic control display basically failed and had to be replaced. The technician also showed us how to adjust the burners, since a couple of them would not go low enough to achieve a true simmer. That's OK now, and we love the dual oven and the warming drawer. The oval middle burner lacks punch, but if you don't need it to get super hot for something like blackening fish, it's fine. Apparently, the 9,500 btu rating on it is the same as on one of the rear burners ... but what nobody tells you, is that the oval burner is much larger, so that heat rating is spread out over much more real estate than the small burner. Overall, this is a good range for the money and our minor complaints are just that. We checked consumer ratings on ranges that cost double, triple or more than this one and guess what? People complained about them, too.

Cadillac of Stoves

Submitted by MeLove2Cook - 5/16/2016

Lots of bells and whistles, and an impressively beautiful exterior, but my favorite thing about the gas range is that there's a super powerful two-flame burner that heats a large pot of water faster than I have ever seen. I haven't tried the dual oven or the stove top grill yet, but am looking forward to it!

Love the gas cooktop, the oven is challenging...

Submitted by NGaHolly - 4/18/2016

I love the gas cooktop, however I'm on LP or propane, so the burners had to be set before install to propane. The flames looked fine after install but everything scorched even on lowest flame so I found information about ADJUSTING THE FLAME DOWN ON LOW in the manual. I remember the installer from the gas company did that for me with my last cooktop. That worked very well. So now I love the cooktop. The ovens? I'm still trying to figure out how to use them. It was so great to think of having 2 separate or one giant oven, but it doesn't work as well as I was hoping. First, I didn't realize when I bought this range that the UPPER OVEN IS CONVECTION ONLY> That kind of changes things. I'm thinking of it now as a giant toaster oven, which isn't a bad thing.I cover things loosely with foil for the majority of the cook time. i'm wearing out the instruction manual. And using an oven thermometer too. The ovens say they are preheated before they are, in every mode, single or double. The temperatures are never what they say they are. I've used the option to adjust the base temp and it has helped, but I'm still mentally adjusting everything. I haven't tried baking a batch of cookies yet, that will be a good test. But I have roasted a couple of chickens under single mode, convection roast, and they didn't really brown like they should have. Thus the temp adjustment. Will see how the next chicken turns out...

A versatile range

Submitted by MentorMom - 4/18/2016

The Samsung oven is great and meets our needs. The design looks like a small restaurant stove but measuring only 30 inches to fit in our home. We had a gas, double oven before but the Samsung duo fuel oven outshines our old oven. We have always like cooking on a gas cooktop and I love baking in an electric oven; now we have both types of fuel. The two oven sizes are fantastic. It's great to have a smaller oven to bake smaller items – no need to heat up a huge oven. In addition, with this new style, we can take out the divider to use the whole oven at one time for big baking projects, which is something new for double ovens. The single door with the lever that triggers the hinges to open the top oven versus the whole door is really a clever design. The high output burner will boil water so quickly compared to traditional burners. Preheating the oven is so fast; the oven will be preheated before the cake batter is in the baking pans. The one thing that was so disappointing was the leveling feet. It isn't a deal breaker but it made leveling the range very difficult. The feet are bulky, plastic feet but that isn't the main thing wrong with them. We were not able to lower the feet enough to level the cooktop with the countertop. The leveling feet are too high when they are twisted to the lowest position. We have tiled the kitchen floor and put the tile under the range, which has raised the floor under the range. However, we expected the leveling feet to accommodate the tile. When we kept trying to lower the feet the plastic eventually stripped that caused it to be very difficult to take the leveling feet off. We then had to go to the hardware store and purchase universal leveling feet. The other problem is the opening for the leveling feet is not the universal diameter size so we had to jury-rig the new universal leveling feet into the feet slots. The other thing we didn't like is having unnecessary accessories such as the griddle and the wok grate. We already have a griddle that we still will use with the Samsung cooktop. Our griddle can make 8 pancakes at a time; the Samsung griddle is narrow and might make 4 pancakes. And the griddle is extremely heavy. Not everyone cooks with a wok. Our wok has a flat bottom. I think those accessories should have been optional purchases, which should make the cost of the Samsung range lower since the cost of those accessories is built into the price. Even with these two setbacks, I am so happy with the Samsung range. I would recommend the Samsung range to family and friends.

It's QUALITY is exceptional, and was what we expected from samsung: (1) FIT- it perfectly slipped into the 30" space, ( 2) GAS COOKTOP with (a) high capacity 22,500 BTU (3 qts water 5 mins to boil) and two 9500 BTU. (3) TWO ELECTRIC CONVECTION OVENS for versatility and speed ( preheated to 350 in 3 mins); (4) STAINLESS top and front; (5) WOK cradle; (6) GRILL/GRIDDLE on CENTER burner, and (7) EASY TO READ controls with three easy to setup PRESET "Favorites" (takes 3 buttons to start the oven to our most used settings). SUMMARY: You will be impressed by the overall quality of this product. We bought this after purchasing a Samsung refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer and experiencing the quality products. VERY HAPPY!

LOOKS GREAT OR IS IT A LEMON

Submitted by DirtyHarry255 - 2/2/2016

I am still learning to use this range and love the dual fuel option The stove top works very well and the burner lay out works for me. My issue is the electric oven. It is definitely not calibrated correctly and still attempting to get that under control. The oven is running colder that it states it is out. I also feel it does not recoup well after the door is open while cooking. I am hoping that the oven temperature issue will be resolved. or I may request a service call. I am not disappointed to the point of not recommending this product but chose the no at this time to complete this survey. As far as I am concerned I bought a top of the line unit and expect that level of performance

My new stove

This new stove is not only beautiful in design but has many new functions. Being able to have two different ovens and a warming drawer at the same time is great.

Because this range is so new, I could not find any reviews, I hope this review will help others make the best choice for their needs. This is absolutely beautiful. This range is the most versatile you will ever find in its price range. One of the biggest issues I had with my previous gas range was how long it took to boil water. This takes no time at all. When choosing, make sure you compare BTUs because this range outperforms anything I have found. When I started researching ranges, I looked at the features each offered and all reviews I could find. I kept coming back to this range because I wanted a split oven and I loved the gas cooktop with the added center feature (which if you look performs better due to the oblong design which covers more area and allows the most even and consistent cooking results). The convection feature (separate fans in upper and lower oven) combined with the option of using it as two separate ovens or one large one and the warming drawer just blows away anything currently on the market. If there was one thing I would change or upgrade, it would be to have easy glide racks and it would be nice if it were available in the black stainless steel. I will be posting more feedback as I have opportunities to use more features.
