This oven does not heat properly. When I set the oven for 350 degrees the ready timer goes off and it is only 275 degrees. I tried recalibrating per the owners manual without success. I then called customer service and what a joke that was. I asked the agent to send out a technician to fix the issue. She advised me that LG does not have any technitians in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. I guess I am stuck with this thing.

Installed 2 weeks ago tomorrow. My biscuits and cinnamon rolls didnt burn in the oven so I am pleased. We bought the one with front controls as my husband is in a wheelchair. I am not a fan as too easy to bump when stirring oans on the back but its what we needed.

Love the look Oven is well timed with even cooking and convection is a nice addition as an option for cooking. Glass top is tough to keep looking nice but I am getting the gist of what to do and not do. I dont have the gas option so glass top was the only new look upgrade from the coil burners. I do enjoy the LG features to connect to my LG app. Wish the control panel was lit. It is hard to see while cooking as the panel is also black with dark grey words.

In m opinion there is a design flaw in the control panel lighting. There is no back light to the panel making it almost impossible to see the lower engraved functions. The temperature and timer are lit up but not the functions. This is very inconvenient for proper usage you have to turn on every light available to see them and or get down on one knee to see them.

After a month its perfect. The glass top is so easy to clean and the stove heats very quickly at each burner. Oven is quick and easy to read the settings. Gas grates were a pain to clean so we are happy that we changed.

This was great for the first 1 year. I have been experiencing issues with setting the oven temp time at 410 and 30 minutes later it starts beeping and goes down to 350 then turns off. I have called customer support and no resolution. The service repair company has no clue. Ive been told Im the only person experiencing this issue. That is not true. The repair company told me that its a known issue.

Very bad experience with LG customer service. I never got the parts I ordered after the made a mistake in the delivery. Im still missing parts that I should had. Coordination is very poor. Dont buy I have had this oven for over 5 months and have had the repairmen out 6 times. The oven does not heat properly. I either under cook or over cook food. Put it on 350F to settles to 325-330F. Put it on 355F or above and it heats put to over 400F. Calibration does not help. The appliance repairmen comes out and contacts LG tech phone support and gets conflicting instructions every time. A LG tech said they are only allowed to be on the phone for 10 mins so their support is minimal. Thermostat circuit boards and heating elements have been replaced twice and still there has not been any change. I thought I met the requirement of parts replaced 3 times within 3 months then found out that it has to be 3 repairs in 3 month by the same person. Finally got a LG tech on the phone that could not figure out what the problem is and issued a TCC number which goes to LG management for disposition to determine if it was unrepairable. It was denied. They insisted on another repair. New repair did not worked so I called LG again. Yesterday they scheduled a Certified LG Tech to come out and disposition it. No one showed up today. Called LG again and they said they are no Certified LG Techs in my area so they cant send anyone out and agreed I was lied to. They said I have to schedule through an appliance repair company again. Through multiple phone calls ~20 I am told they will contact me within 24-48 hours. Only twice did someone call me back. They change to rules consistently and have many excuses including blaming the customer but I have been baking for 50 years and know how an oven should work. Its pretty basic stuff turn it on and it heats to the proper temperature. The quality of LGs products and their warrenty are terrible. I will never buy another LG product. Back to making phone calls. Round and round we go.

After two years of use I think I can post an accurate review of the product. Overall we are happy with the performance with just a couple of issues which I will address at the end The good: nice looking stove was easy To install. All the cooking features work great. Love the air fry feature ours came with the fryer basket included. No more deep fried French fries and chicken wings We use the convection feature a lot and really does a great job on pizza. The stove top is relatively easy to clean if you should spill liquids on it. The self clean feature for the oven works well. The bad: as with many other users the ease at which the control knobs turn on by accidentally bumping them is a serious concern. In two years this has happened three or four times. Luckily there has not been anything on the stovetop so there was no fire. The lock feature could be used to prevent this issue but really who remembers to lock the control after each and every cooking session. The designers need to come up with something better to prevent this from occurring. Additionally the controls are not lit up so they are extremely hard to read. This is very annoying. If the ambient light in the kitchen is not extremely bright it is very hard to make out the dial readings and the control buttons for the oven features. If these two negative features could be resolved I would be able to give this product 5 stars.

The WiFi will not stay connected. We had an Lg repair guy out here three times. The first time he couldnt fix anything because LG sent him the wrong part refrigerator part instead of stove He replaced the motherboard and WiFi adapter. Still will not stay connected. I know its not our WiFi because we also bought the LG refrigerator microwave and dishwasher and all have NO issues with the WiFi. LG refuses to replace the stove. Very unhappy.

WORRIED ABOUT COOKTOP COATING AND CONTROL KNOBS

The cooktop coating is bubbling up on the large burners. We are super careful with it and only use smooth bottom pans and gentle cleanser. The two small burners look fine. Also the slightest bump up against the knobs makes the burners turn on which is incredibly dangerous. The LG assigned tech is coming out to see about a warranty on these. I hope they can fix it.

Wed have had our stove for a month now and we couldnt be more pleased. We traded our gas stove for the LG as the gas stove was so difficult to lift the heavy grates to constantly clean. Now a quick wipe of the glass top and its extra clean. Oven temp is perfect and the dials and settings are easy to use and understand. The cooktop is super-fast and directs the heat right to the pan. Air fryer is so much better and healther as well. Kudos to LG.

LG you asked for an honest review here it is. Feel free to contact me at my email address below. We have buyers remorse for purchasing this oven. The oven and range top performs great but our problem is the operational controls. The range knobs have so very little resistance that slightly brushing or bumping into them will turn a burner on. This has happened about 8 times in the first year of operation My wife put two towels on the top to protect it while cleaning. Evidently brushing against the button holes were burned into the towels. One hole about 6 diameter. No flames we rushed the towels outside took about two days for the smell to dissipate. We contacted LG a service tech was sent to inspect conclusion was 1 there is no recall to date and 2 we were shown how to use the child protection lock to prevent recurrence. It seems different controls could be made to make turning on the burners a deliberate action not the hap-hazard action as it is now. We will be replacing this oven soon. By the way I understand there is a class action lawsuit for this problem. Thanks Joe C.

Pretty happy with this but out of all the LG appliances I recently purchased this is my least favorite. I love how it looks but the knobs located on the front are very touch-sensitive so if I bump against them to reach an overhead cabinet quite often a burner gets turned on. Also my salesperson told me that the electronics in todays ranges do not fare well when the self-cleaning feature is used too often so I have not used the air fryer option yet because Im not sure about how much of a mess it will make. Having to clean inside an oven by hand takes me back to unwanted memories of smelly oven cleaners and rubber gloves. As for performance it cooks evenly and quickly and the cooktop cleans up nicely.

Purchased refrigerator dishwasher electric stove microwave all LG appliances. The salesman confirmed our leaning towards LG. All appliances have been working for about a month now an they exceed our expectations. The stoves best feature is that it heats at a constant temperature which was not the case with our former stove which was working fine so we thought until LG came along. French doors on fridge are GREAT. Plenty of room and food doesnt seem to get lost as was previously the case. The dishwasher microwave are also fantastic. When the dishwasher is emptied the plates all feel ultra clean. The microwave seems stronger and has multiple features that I never would have thought of but are a welcomed surprise.

I had a terrible experience with trying to get to oven racks for my new LG oven. They said they would send it to me it would take 7 to 10 days. It was over two weeks and I had not received them. I called and they said they were still sitting at the warehouse for some unknown reason. Five days later I get a huge box at my front door about the size of a 50 inch TV box.. I was very excited because I wanted to use my oven only received one rack so I could not use my oven as my oven says I cannot put any kind of liner in the bottom knowing that I needed the second rack for a drip tray to keep my oven cleaner I had to wait call them back each time that Ive talked to them. It takes 45 minutes to over an hour.. its been over a month and I have yet to still get my second rack. Im very disappointed.

I concur with many of the other reviews. The front knobs do bump extremely easily. We have gotten in the habit of using control Lough after each use. The seven does extend out from the wall further than her previous oven so please be careful of that. Operationally performs as expected.

The only reason this doesnt have a 1 star review is the customer service made the situation right. We bought our unit about 18 months ago and the front display started to fade. The digits are starting to disappear so you couldnt make out the times or temperature. Eventually that became a display that did not work at all. All you could do was turn it on and not select temps. Ive had various stoves throughout my life and this is a first for the unit to be unusable in less than two years. That is unacceptable for something I barely even use. Lets just hope the LG fridge doesnt break

Unable to see front info on panel as it is not back lite Also the knobs are WAY TO EASY TO TURN ON ACCIDENTALLY This happened to me and a plastic spoon melted on the top right burner I have to reach over the stove to get to my microwave and my shirt caught on the knob it turned on and damaged the burner. Now my 3 week new stove will probably need a new top This also happened to my daughter when she visited.

I love all the features but my concern is that if you lean against or bump the front controls they easily turn on. As a result I never leave anything on top of the range due to the fire hazard of accidentally turning on a burner.

Happy with stove function bakes well and easy to use. Drawback if you broil be careful the writing on the underside of the knobs come off. Waiting on replacement knob from LG customer servicethe stainless steal on the front part of the stove scratches very easily if you move pots pans around. Also stove top knobs are easily turned if you lean towards them like getting something overhead.

We like our new LG electric range There is one thing I would like to have improved - it is very difficult to see the knob settings Once you use the burner a few times you get to know where to turn the knob but trying to see the markers on the knob is a challenge. The nice blue interior of the oven is very attractive We have not used all of the features this range has but look forward to doing so. It takes awhile to get used to the heat settings etc but overall we are enjoying cooking with new range.

Good product but knobs are failing after owning for a year. All knobs lost ink after cleaning with all purpose cleaner. Unable to use all features without knowing what each turn is intended for. One knob stripped off as well. Oven heat is great but the poor knobs makes it difficult to use.
