The side doors are very heavy and slam when you close drawer for veggies does not keep the fresh. Our kitchens is refrigerator had a crisper draw and you can adjust temp.

After 2 months the refrigerator completely shut off. No power whatsoever. LG put me in touch with a technician and while the technician was quick to respond LG wasnt at all regrading my food reimbursement. Id receive random texts saying they were on it but then no one would respond when I tried to follow up. Still no word.......

I bought the more modern updated LG sided-by-side model without the handles. I thought everything else would pretty much be the same as my previous LG. However the new design of the storage shelves is thin and less durable. They also put the slide access on the drawers underneath the drawers so you have to stoop down to the floor to open a drawer. Poor design. I

I have never written a bad review on-line but I want people aware of my terrible experience with LG. Our LG refrigerator was working well but then we started experiencing a chemical odor in the refrigerator and freezer sections after 2-3 months. I contacted customer service and they sent someone out to fix. The person was in my house for 5-10 minutes and said nothing was wrong. I contacted customer service at least 20 times after this visit to get someone to come back as the problem still exists. They refuse to come back and fix. I still have this problem and I have even thrown away food as the chemical odor has made the food inedible. The chemical odor is in the fridge and the freezer. We can still drink the water but the ice tastes like chemicals as well because it is exposed in the freezer section. This has been an absolutely terrible experience and please be careful. I am very surprised as LG normally has been very reliable. And dont try to ask for a manager as they dont have any? Absolutely terrible customer service

As a basic frig its ok but ..ice bin is small even just 2 people can easily run out of ice supposedly has a smudgeproof finish but its not without handles you cant help but touch the actual door leave smudges drawers shelves are not adjustable.

Had ice maker issues but has been resolved.
Not happy that the crisper cheese/meat drawers do not have a humidity control slide control on the drawer. Items go bad too quickly you should not have to wrap everything up as that speeds up decay process sometimes.

We bought this fridge a few weeks ago. Purchasing delivery and installation were exceptional. I wish the fridge had a deli drawer but otherwise it is a very nice looking and highly efficient appliance.

Had now a few weeks no issues what so ever very spacious even though shelves arent adjustable they are spaced that dont need to be adjusted door bins are large and very functional lighting is good really like the smaller ice cubes temperatures in freezer and fridge consistent to setting as far as noise quiet really quiet someone had posted when opening doors would hit their foot dont really understand that for no problem here opening doors and hitting my feet like I said so far so good hopefully a year from now or 12 years from now its still operating with the five star rating

After purchasing we discovered they put the wrong filter in and the water and ice compartment. The water tasted nasty and so did the ice. I called LG and we discovered the problem was the wrong filter. They are sending me the correct filter now.

This fridge allows me to see everything I have in the freezer and cooling sides. It holds a lot of food and the door shelves are tall and deep to store a variety of bottles and cartons. The water and ice dispensers work perfectly. It is very quiet and it is easy to wipe clean and shiny.

Hello. Ice maker cannot keep up with just myself even after preloading it with ice from the store. Unfortunately there are other people in my house as well. Ice turn out about every 2-3 hours and they are small cubes. The doors are very low to the ground so you will scrape off the top of your feet if you dont stop and think every time you open the refrigerator. Not what you should have to do while trying to get some breakfast out first thing in the morning. Nope. Ouch. I would like to return it but who has time for that. This fridge is a bust

Brand new fridge delivered 3 weeks ago. Works well and otherwise seems like a quality product but today the top glass freezer shelf spontaneously shattered. Upon opening freezer door I discovered contents of the entire freezer covered in a million tiny many invisible shards of glass. Hundreds of dollars worth of food in freezer is a total loss. Hours of cleaning and bleeding and vacuuming later we are still finding minuscule shards of glass Im the freezer cavity and all over the floor.
There was very little weight placed in the glass no sudden change in temperature. It truly seems just to have shattered on its own overnight.

We have beautiful kitchen cabinets that we hated to rip out so that a refridgerator would fit under them. LG had the solution and we LOVE IT The water and ice on the door is awesome. We have had nothing but problems with our unit since the day it was delivered. This model has a design flaw the water line runs behind the crisper drawer and freezes so you have no ice or water in the door. LGs solution is to unplug the unit at night. I would suggest staying away from this model until the design has been changed.

I bought this a few months ago and I have to purchase 2 bags of ice a week for 3 people. The ice maker in the door doesnt make a lot of ice in a timely manner. Even when I put it on Ice Plus it doesnt fill the container within a 24 hour period. Ice Plus is a stupid feature because it goes off after a small amount of time. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

This refrigerator is not designed with flexibility in mind. The shelves are at a set height and cannot be adjusted. The drawers dont open unless the doors are open all the way so there are lots of scratches on the doors. The ice maker is very slow at replenishing ice. Using the Ice Plus option doesnt increase production as advertised. The water filter is very difficult to replace. It takes a lot of strength to put in and the plastic housing feels like it will break at any time.

We are enjoying our new LG side-by-side that we have had for 2 months. The door is easily opened and closed. The overall look/style is smooth and sleek - there are no visible door handles. The beep signal indicating that the door has been held open for too long is a bonus.. We wish that the refrigerator/freezer was sold with extra loose shelf bins for the open shelves of the refrigerator freezer. The bins could help with organizing the contents on the refrigerator/freezer shelves. We like that the icemaker is integrated with the freezer door. There are enough ice cubes for our use.

I purchased this refrigerator a month ago so far I am very happy. The interior is well lit although Im somewhat disappointed the shelves arent adjustable. The ice maker is a bit loud when it dumps and refills but it is only takes a few seconds so bear able. I like that it is a side by side because I find it doesnt have a lot of unusable space and everything is easy to get to. So far Im very pleased

BoughtThis refrigerator about a month ago. When it was delivered the kitchen cabinet was about a half inch to short. The hight adjustment on the unit would not go down as low as the opposite one. We finally fit it in with some trimming. Water delivery system spigot does not work well when filling water bottles. I often wonder if engineers test features such as this to see how they work/

We bought our new fridge just under a month ago and so far are really enjoying it. The door shelves in the refrigerator part seem sturdy and functional. I wish you could move some of the shelves throughout the fridge around a bit more but its not a deal breaker. The one things I do think should have been designed differently though are the two bottom produce drawers. For some reason they put the handles on the bottom instead of the top which makes them harder to open especially the very bottom drawer. The freezer also seems to work well and has plenty of storage space for our needs. Ice and water dispenser are nice and can fit a Nalgene water bottle. Overall we are enjoying our new refrigerator.

This was not our first choice but we are happy with the product. It cools well looks good and was a reasonable price. And it was available This probably should have been our first choice as we wanted a counter depth fridge and this one actually has more space than most. Our only glitch has been the ice maker but LG has been attentive and has promptly responded.
