I bought this in August and two months later started having issues with the machine. After pushing the start button and selecting cycle Id push the start and the machine will smiply shut off. It also stops without totally drying the clothes. Been on the phone multiply times and many text. Recorded the problem and sent video in text. I changed the duct work because was told that was the problem. It wasnt. Was told not to use dryer sheets because that was why it was stopping. Still stopped ramdomly. It doesnt happen all the time so of course when the service man came it worked fine. Had to pay an electrician $150 to confirm it wasnt my wiring knowing it wasnt. Friday Nov 10 I spoke to someone and he was giving my infomation to someone up the food chain and said they would call in a bit. I ask what a bit was and was told 24-48 hours. It is now Wed and have not heard any more from anyone. Luckly the machine has worked this week. Will see if it continues.

Bought this August 3 LG Cancelled delivery 3 times. Finally arrived September 28 and it has been making a horrible banging noise from the moment it was installed. Have contacted Customer service over 6 times. Hung up on 3 times cannot get anyone to email me back and the text thread directs me to email and again -- cannot get a response. Ive sent photos and videos of the dryer. WORST PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER 2 Months later and still nothing has been done.

The actual dryer has great features but it has been making a grinding sound for 2 months since purchased and even the LG repair tech cannot figure out what is wrong with the unit. More parts have been ordered to replace Drum rollers and belt and we are still waiting for the parts to be installed. This is still an ongoing issue and working with the LG 1-800 phone operators has been a nightmare

LG Customer Service Nightmare

Purchased two months ago and since day one the dryer has had a grinding noise when operating. It is far louder when first starting but continues as the dryer runs through the cycle. It has been a nightmare to get LG to admit that this is an actual issue with the dryer. The associate who answered the phone from the LG help number insisted it was something I was doing or putting in with the load even though it was mentioned it had been happening with EVERY load for two months Finally a supervisor requested a video of the dryer being loaded and running with the noise. Now two months later a service tech is scheduled to come out to look at the unit in person and potentially repair the unit this week. The scheduling was a nightmare as well since I was told to expect a phone call within 5 days. 10 days later still no call but LG called to confirm that I had been contacted but when I told them I had NOT been contacted they proceeded to tell me they could only scedule the repair on the next Tursday or Friday with no other option. When told the lady I would be out of town se said there was no other option but she would see what she could do and reach back out to me later. I recieved several texts from LG the following Thursday at 2:51 AM IN THE MORNING stating that a repair appointment had been made for the next Friday at 10 am and this would be the only time a repair could be scheduled. Several text at 2:51 AM IS UNACCEPTABLE This whol process has been a nightmare and it is still on going

Good washer. Awful customer support

The dryer works well. Nice large lint screen thats easy to clean. Some lint gets through somehow to the front of the screen but the house has a really short exhaust tube so it shouldnt be an issue in the future. Dont get me started on the poor customer support. The support agent did everything he could to get me to call a local service tech rather than send someone out to find out why my dryer would occasionally turn off in the middle of drying clothes. I understand that the problem may be an installation and setup issue but its an LG product thats near new. Just send someone out to check it out. If LG support says it was an installation problem fine Ill find someone to repair but it was less than 90 days old when the problem started. Two stars for the terrible customer service.

Quiet and solid built.

the dryer was very easy to hook up and use however it would not start the second time. The warranty rep predicted the problem was the door safety switch based on my information. The repair tech was very prompt and courteous and replaced the switch easily and we have had no further issues with the unit. It is very quiet.

I purchased the dryer new from Lowes and it did not work. The door latch system indicated the door was open when it was actually shut. This caused the system not to run. We called LG for repair and they offered compensation and sent a technician out about 5 days later to repair.

Only speed dry works. Dryer stops after a few minutes and displays error code. We followed the guidelines as told and still it keeps doing this. If we use speed dry setting in 20 - 30 minute increments we finally get clothes dry.

Experience ruined by a faulty door switch

Now that its fixed the dryer is great its fast easy to use huge capacity plays a little song when its finished but when it arrived it had a faulty door switch. Was able to install the plug and hook it up the vent everything seemed to be good but every time I hit start which I got a double ding. When I went on the support chat person walked me through a whole bunch of stuff but at no point did he mention that a double ding means that the door isnt registered as being shut despite me asking several times what the double ding indicates. Afterward figured out myself that it was the door switch and was able to put a small piece of plastic over the switch so that when I closed the door it pushed down hard enough that it registered that it closed. The soonest repair appointment that they could offer was five days later and it was literally a five minute fix to swap it out with a good one. So negatives are 1 Faulty door switch 2 LG lacks sufficient staff to service their warrantee claims promptly 3 Online support desk incapable of troubleshooting what should have been blindingly obvious double beep = door not registering as closed. Only thing that really capable of doing is saying that they are sorry. Positive is that its a great dryer as shame a cheap part caused so much aggravation.

The reason for 4 stars is the normal sensor never gets a full load completely dry. I use the heavy duty sensor and it does. Seems that normal would guarantee it to dry. Other than that it is excellent dryer and would purchase again. We will see how long it last.

Horrible Lemon wont even start

Brand new and the delivery guys left and the dryer panel turns on but the dryer wont start LG is NOT helpful and Home Depot is telling me 3 weeks before a replacement can be sent out. This thing is a LEMON and I will never ever again by an LG product. The manual is for like 6 different versions so no help there. This thing is a lemon and I wouldnt recommend this product for anyone. If customer service was helpful or would send someone out or help me troubleshoot then maybe 2 stars but nope they said call Home Depot and get a new one. I am now a single mom stuck trying to find a laundry mat and pay more money for 3 weeks until a new one can be delivered. So not professional or right. Make sure whoever installs this junk tests it with you present and its working before you accept the delivery. This is absolutely junk.

Worst buying experience of my life

This dryer is awful It was nonfunctional from day one And still at only a month old just as horrible LG refuses to replace this machine. They insist that a brand new machine has to be fixed with a change in a whole new panel So rather than stand behind their product they will insist on fixing a lemon They refuse to stand behind their product and they do not have a care in the world that my family has been without a dryer for weeks I will never again purchase anything from LG. It has been a horrendous experience Complete nightmare I would not recommend their products to anyone ever
