All New Electrolux / Frigidaire Appliances?

After just a few weeks in the new home we noticed the difficulties in cleaning the electric range top. Scratches were all over the left side of the cooking surface. So rather than make it worse we decided to eat out more often. When bringing it to Electrolux's attention. One response stood out above all the rest. In time it will be less visible and you will just get use to it.. Meaning after a while it doesn't stand out as much and or catch the naked eye. The refrigerator, is not much better. Very small ice cubes and a very small quantity to go along with it. We ran out of ice the first night that we had company, and had to send out a guest to get some more ice. We have no idea what a Realux Program Is? Selling Direct ? I could not find a Frigidaire dealer that would work with me to get an additional ice maker for the freezer. So I bought a Electrolux Ice Maker on-line. Electrolux will not install it unless I buy it from them ??? Go Figure ??

I love my cooktop! My problem is keeping it clean. I use the recommended cleaner but it dries a white powder in the cracks of frame. How can I prevent this. Also, is the only way to get stuborn food stains off the surface by using a razor blade. I haven't used one yet because I'm scared of scratching the surface. Can you help me with keeping my cooktop clean?
