Just 3 years after installation in 2011 the dishwasher quit. The 'test' indicated a pup replacement was necessary ($250.) After installing a new pump, the machine still did not work. Eventually, the malfunction was traced to the float switch. The machine is not used very often. As far as I know (I haven't been billed yet) I am expected to pay for the unneeded pump motor. This is outrageous. Additionally, at the same time I purchased the dishwasher, I also bought your 'top-of-the-line' refrigerator/freezer. The ice maker quit after 2 years. The service man told me "it happens all the time" - poorly engineered/constructed temperature control thermister. THAT repair cost me $600. Now, just ONE YEAR LATER, the ice maker has quit again. It is a gross understatement to say I am disappointed in the quality and reliability of Electrolux products. I really thought we were purchasing 'quality' goods. My experience says, "Not so!"

I've had this dishwasher for almost three years. We purchased a whole set of appliances of Electrolux when we remodeled our kitchen a couple of years ago. The dishwasher is one of my favorite appliances. I love how the top rack can be lowered or raised (I can easily fit in my cookie sheets). I enjoy all the options of the different cycles which I use all of them depending on what is in the dishwasher. The only downfall is that the spring in the dishwasher door has sprung twice now in the last six months. I would still recommend this dishwasher but be aware that the spring in the door can go "out" which if you aren't careful the door can slam to the floor.

I love my new dishwasher. My dishes, pots, and pans do not have to be perfectly clean when I put them in the dishwasher. When the washer is running you can barely hear it running. Then when the wash cycle is complete, everything is spotless. I have only one complaint and that the tines on the bottom rack that fold down, fold down too easily when I am trying to stack plates.

My wife is still having trouble learning hoe to operate the machine. The start/cancel button does nothing when pushed. We have never been able to get the air dry to work. Dishes are still wet when cycle complete. There is nothing in the manual how to set the air dry cycle only how to unlock and lock the cycle in use.

The top level is not suitable for our glassware. Unless each piece is wedged in, it tips over. Therefore, it is slow and inefficient to load.Also, we have to rinse our dishes well before loading them. Otherwise, they often are not clean, even when we use the heavy wash cycle.This is not what it was advertised to be.

For the most part, the washer runs and runs well. It won't dry the dishes for some reason and it leaves soap residue on the plates. But it has been reliabile for nearly four years. Currently the system is giving me an Er 01 code, which suggests that there is a water buildup in the base. I have removed the water and, I believe, the cause of the buildup -- some broken glass in the bottom. Unfortunately, there is no reset mechanism -- or at least there is none described in the owner's manual -- so I can't test whether it is working or not. Any suggestions on how to reset the electronics on the door would be appreciated.

Very pleased with this dishwasher. It is the quietest I have ever had. Dishes come out very clean, glasses sparkle and have no residue. The top rack often seems a little small as far as capacity but that may be because I leave in the removable small piec holder for lids etc. Highly recommend!

We've had our dishwasher about 3 years and have had no major issues. We tend to rinse our dishes so their isn't a problem with debris. Once we had a house sitter who was not a pre-dishwasher rinser and we did have it get gunked up inside. I'm going to chalk that up to user error. Called the 1-800 number and customer service was very prompt and helpful. Once we cleared the gunk out, dried it out because water had collected in the bottom, it started working again with no glitches. We learned to also run a cleaning cycle once in a while. Looks great, quiet, and easy to use.

The Model EIDW6305GS is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. You can start this washer and stand by it and you can just barely hear it. When sitting across the room you cannot even tell it is running.The Model EIDW6305GS does an outstanding job cleaning the dishes and the adjustable rack makes it a easy to arrange different size dishes. The stainless steel tub in my opinion contributes to the overall drying of the dishes as it helps keep heat in during the drying cycle.If there are any drawbacks to the unit it would be that the normal cleaning cycles runs for 108 minutes which I believer is to long considering the dishes are clean long before this cycle comes to and end.

This dishwasher was a warranty replacement for a similar model that was deemed unfixable. One year and one month later this dishwasher had an error code that required parts that took over 3 weeks to get. 2 months later, the same issue and the dishwasher leaks. I would not recommend this dishwasher to a friend..

Using the top rack of this dishwasher is an exercise in frustration. None of our cups, mugs or glasses fit. They fall over in the wider sections and don't fit at all in the narrower sections. There is a metal section that holds the adjustable part to move the rack up and down. This makes the wider section odd for that part. There is some sort of odd clip/narrow "adornment' on one of the spindles that also makes the wide section not usable. The bottoms of the cups and mugs fill with water no matter what setting I use. I don't know if I am making my description clear, but we have cups/mugs from Le Crueset, Fiesta Ware, and other types. Nothing fits. Everything falls over. If this dishwasher weren't so expensive, I think I would replace it.

I purchased 6 electrolux appliances for my kitchen in 2009 (refrigerator, hood, dual fuel oven, microwave, dishwasher and mini refrig). Since that time they have ALL required repair. The frigerator and dishwasher re in constant repair. I purchased this "top line" brand b/c I didn't want to deal with any problems. I also purchased a "warrantee" on all the appliances b/c I didnt want to have any problems that would take time from my busy schedule. In the last 2 months I have had the refrigerator stop working and spoil ALL my food, Sears took 4 attempts to fix the problem over the course of 3 weeks. The following day the dishwasher broke, draining 2 feet of water all over my kitchen. After 5 weeks they still haven't been able to fix it. I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux appliance again. This has been the WORST experience I have ever had!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased this top-of-the-line dishwasher from a large box store about 2 years ago. About 1 1/2 years later, it started making a loud noise when it would run. We had an appliance repairman look at it and he told us that it would cost more to repair it than to purchase a new washer. We opted to hold onto it since it still washed our dishes only to have it stop working completely about two months ago. Initially, we were very pleased with the quiet operation and sleek appearance of the Electrolux. However, after this lackluster experience, I would choose to purchase a brand with a better track record in the future.

This is by far the most expensive dishwasher I've ever purchased and very likely the least effective. It simply does not wash the dishes. For one thing, there doesn't appear to be any significant water pressure. It apparently doesn't drain very well either, because it often has a bad odor. It packs very well, but the water connection for the upper tray only works in one position: it the other positions the tubing consistently pulls away from the tray, and then it won't connect to the water supply. Based on this experience and and a totally unproductive experience with another Electrolux product, I do not ever intend to buy any other Electrolux products.

This dishwasher has been a nightmare from the day it was installed. We continually get Er01, which is supposed to mean that moisture is found under the unit. We've had a tech out half a dozen times for this error, and they can never find anything indicating there is a any moisture, leak, or other problem that would cause the dishwasher to throw this error. There was a recall on the appliance and it took two techs 3 hours to basically rebuild the unit. Dishes do not get clean, even simple things like pasta sauces, coffee and tea do not get cleaned. Even when we pre-rinse dishes exceptionally well, there is always residue on a few items that cause us to have to hand wash them as we take them out of the dishwasher or run the whole load again and again. The top spray-arm does not spin EVER, before or after the rebuild. Soap does not dissolve and is left in the soap dispenser and/or is clinging to the door and bottom pan. We have tried Cascade, Finish, NextGeneration; powders, liquids and gel-packs. The dishwasher is junk.

I purchased this dishwasher for our cabin and it didn't seem to work correctly, but I was told by the repairman that it was working exactly as intended (Note: Electrolux was a new brand to them and they really hated coming all the way out to our location). Later when I needed to have another repairman come out because the Electrolux refrigerator was not working (freezer door needed to be replaced as the water system inside the door itself had frozen completely and would not work), he looked at the dishwasher, said it needed very expensive new parts which he replaced, and now it works as it should have originally. Of course, both appliances were out of warranty. As for using the dishwasher, I do not care for the placement angles for dishes and glasses or especially for the fact that it never totally dries the dishes. I would never buy another Electrolux dishwasher nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Well it all started 2 1/2 years ago when my husband and I decided to do a room addition and finish our last of the remodeling of our house, we did all the remodel ourselves adding a 22 x 24 room. the New addition was to make our kitchen bigger and add a family room. (Expecting to have grand kids running around in the future). I wanted stainless steel appliances and shopped around a year prior, I really like the style and the technologies in the Electrolux line. One thing we wanted to do is not have any loans on this remodel project when we finished. So we bought 1 appliance at a time (bought 5), If you could see how beautiful our kitchen is, people say it should be in a magazine. Everyone loves our appliances, Our friends, love to show off our appliances during gatherings. I just sit back and smile.....we did good! Love ALL my Electrolux appliances.

We have had this dishwasher for 2 years. It has always done a poor job of cleaning as stated in many other reviews.The product is unreliable. We've had several error code 01s on this machine. It requires leaving the machine unplugged for about 24 hours to reset the code. Then it will work for a few months until the same error code appears.The only good thing I can say about it is it is quiet, and it is even more quiet when it won't turn on.
