You will have weird smells, but that is a normal part of this type of oven and stovetop. You will also likely see smoke coming out from the top when you use the oven for the first time. That is normal too.

The range is fine. What is not fine is that I was sold a product that requires I purchase a broiler pan and insert in order to use the broiler. Beyond that, the broiler pan that I needis no longer made!!! I was told be Frigidaire I could purchase the only one that is offered but there is no guarantee it will work properly nor what it will do to the oven. The same comment was made regarding my purchasing any other broiler pan and tray. The appliance was just delivered in early October. This extra nonsense I have to deal with isridiculous, time consuming, and irritating. Additionally, the grates over the stove burners are cast iron, probably protective, but extremely heavy to work with.

I got this to replace an old Frigidaire gas range. Cooks evenly, cleans up easily, controls are intuitive. I would definitely buy another Frigidaire after this, but I expect this to last a long time.

I™™ve had my range for about a month now. It™™s so awesome. The oven heats up so fast compared to my electric model ever did. I can turn down the temperature about 25 degrees as it cooks hotter than electric. The stove top is perfect. Instant, constant heat, and when you need to lower the heat that™™s instant as well. This range is on the lower end for price, but still great quality. I highly recommend this range.

I have only used the oven a couple of times. I have owned this range for a little over three years. I use the oven as storage since I use my toaster oven instead. When I opened the oven to remove a baking pan I could smell gas. I had the gas company shut the gas off. My chronic asthma attacks have stopped. I am terrified of this range. I am cooking on a hot plate right now and saving up for an electric range. I had it installed by Home Depot.

i have this range for 2 weeks now, overall it is good. However, the turn knobs are super low quality and make with CHEAP THIN plastic. it already create 2 unwanted alarm to my family, as little turn pressure on it would make the turn knob misalign with the switch shalf and causing my olde parents panic attack on not knowning why the fire is not being able to turn off due to the misalignment of the label. I would not want to save few extra dollor on this mean wear and tear knobs, as it is greatly degrade the first impression on the range, and i am very surprised, as it is not matching with the floor sample (great quality) i saw in the homedepot store when i bought it.I do not think the knobs will survive in couple month, as it is already loose in 2 weeks of normal usage.

I love the range so far. Still getting used to its different functions. I need to get the timing down for broiling food again. I was without a broiler for a few years. I specifically picked this model because it had a lip around the grating edges. Other models had the grates to the very end which I felt would be problematic with the countertop.I will give a review after a couple of months.

Have only had this range in my home for a couple of weeks but loving all the burners and the quick bake option of the convection oven. Bakes beautifully and quick, saving energy. My only complaint is the propane conversion kit should come with the gas range. I had to wait an extra 5 days to have my stove hooked up because the conversion kit was updated and hard to find.

Just purchased this model and love the ability to move pans right across the grids. The fast boil burner is very fast, and the temperature dials are easy to control.Only negative is cleaning, which is sometimes a challenge because if food falls out and into the grate, it is a long way down into the grate and requires moving all 3 of the grates to really clean it well.
