Still getting used to induction cooking. There is a learning curve with this stove. One thing I just realized I can™€™t see that there is a way to broil as there is no setting for the oven. I do like the glass top and enjoy how easy it is to keep clean. Why does my stove top chirp when something is sitting on top no matter what it is?

My first induction stove

The controls are different than I am used to, and took a little time to get used to, but not that long. Now that I am used to them, I like them alot, and they are pretty cool. Most of my cookware is cast iron and cooking with them on an induction stove is awesome...very fast and with better control. I find it to be less likely that I burn my food. The timer, while simple to use, is pretty worthless. At the loudest setting, it is quieter than any I have heard...so quiet it is pretty much useless unless you plan to be right next to it when it goes off. Everything else is great.

I have had my new range for two weeks. So far, I am really happy I switched from electric to convection. The cooktop has been easy to control and easy to clean. We are just a small household so the burner sizes work well. Due to the burner sizes, a 12" skillet doesn't heat evenly, but I don't really need that large a pan. I am also happy with the oven and it's even heat.

We switched from propane to electric conduction, which meant lots of differences. Now that we™€™re settled in, have pots & pans that work, and know how to operate it, we love our new stove. The lack of knobs was the biggest learning curve, but it was worth it because clean up is so much easier without knobs - just a quick wipe. It heats up super fast, but it also cools down quickly when we adjust the temp down. Pot about to boil over™€¦ turn the temp down and the problem is instantly fixed. With gas, we blasted the air vent while cooking, which we don™€™t need to do with electric, making our cooking experience much quieter. Overall, we™€™re happy we made the switch.

Love your new stove however the touch screen on the front is not very sensitive. The buttons on the bottom of the screen don™€™t work well. We have to press really hard numerous times, the zero is one example of what doesn™€™t work well when setting degrees or timer. I was going to contact the company about it to see if something is wrong with our screen. Other than that we love it so far!

Overall we have been loving the new stove, but the front control on the oven does get annoying while using the cooktop as it tends to get pressed by accident when leaning to stir pots. It was a pleasant surprise that the control lock also locks the oven door (super helpful for those with small children). However, it would be nice to have the option to only lock the oven controls and still have the cooktop be functional.

Wonderful stove and oven. My only criticism would be that the leveling feet in the back were adjustable from the front. My floor is a little crooked like most older homes and to get the unit level was a real pain. Other than that I really love it. Love my new Frigidaire induction range. This is my first ever electric induction range and while it™€™s taken a little getting used to, I™€™m glad I went for it and have no complaints so far with the Frigidaire. I was a little concerned that I would be annoyed with the stove top controls that aren™€™t unique buttons but more built into the top of the range but it works pretty well once you get used to it. I™€™m amazed at how quickly I can boil water now and the oven is an oven - it does its job. Glad I went off the Consumer Reports recommendation and bought this model.

I have had my range since the middle of December 2024, so only a few weeks. I do think it cooks well and looks nice. I also like the oven features. Here's what I don't like.1) It feels a bit overengineered. In order to use the range, you must touch 3 electronic buttons (turn on the range, turn on the burner, select the temperature). And sometimes the buttons don't respond well, especially the temperature buttons.2) The controller is already broken. I have had 2 issues. One day the oven vent started running even though the range hadn't been on for hours. It wouldn't stop even when I hit the circuit breaker. Later that day it finally went off. A technician came to check it the following week. He said it was probably the controller, which was a common problem with these, and ordered a new one (not yet arrived). The next day when I tried to turn on the oven, I received an error message saying it could not start because of a controller issue. (Well done, technician!) I did manage to override it by flipping the circuit breaker.3) I have boiled over on the range a couple times. Two issues there. One, if the water moves too far forward past a certain point, the entire range shuts down. Perhaps that's a safety measure, but I don't know. Also, there is no rim around the edge of the range. That looks nice, but if any liquid runs along the stovetop, it goes right down the side next to the cabinet.

Induction stove

After a period of adjustment, I have figured oit rhe stove top, and several, but not all, of the oven options. Thus far I am enjoying this stove.

The stove heats up super-fast. It has 2 burners that can heat a griddle fast. I'm very pleased with my new induction stove.

New to Induction Cooktop and Range

Overall, the Fridgidaire Induction Range has been a change to the past range we had. No more hot spots or inconsistent temps with range. However, we did have to have this range calibrated as it was 17 degrees off. With that fixed, impressed with the features and results. Induction top is taking some adjustments as things heat quicker and have to gage cooking times. A nice change and upgrade from the 20 year old range we had before. Recommend!
