Love induction!

I love induction cooking! Much more precise than my previous electric glass cooktop. My biggest issue so far with this stove is the controls on the front. I™€™m constantly bumping them and a few times it turns off the stove. Don™€™t like that. The oven temp seems a little off as things are baking more slowly than in my old oven, but haven™€™t checked it yet with an oven thermometer. Need to buy one. Also had to purchase something to fill in the gap between stove and the wall so that things aren™€™t constantly lost behind the stove. Last thing: I unfortunately didn™€™t pay attention to burner sizes when choosing a stove. The largest one is only 9™€ and I™€™m used to larger pans like 12™€ frying pan. I will learn to live with this and my new induction cookware doesn™€™t have any surface greater than 9™€. I would have had to spend another $1000 to get a larger burner. I chose this particular stove based largely on cost and then on features so I lost out on some features due to lower cost. But in spite of that I think it™€™s a very workable stove

Enjoying the new induction range. Cooktop is highly responsive and overall easy to use. The control locks are useful with small kids around and the two-burner griddle option creates versatility for the user. The front facing control menu can be a bit clunky but I still like this unit better than it prior GE cafe unit.

First Induction Range

I heard good and bad in other reviews and personal stories. We have had this half a year now, and it is very good. You can heat a small teapot to boiling in just a minute or two. If something spills over, you can clean it very soon after moving the pan. The heat is quick and even, heating whatever magnetic steel is positioned above the "burners." The oven is both bake and convection bake. I haven't figured that out yet. It seems that on either setting, the fan runs, and still baking takes longer than recipes suggest.This model looks great. (I miss the days of white porcelain instead of Stainless Steel, but this steel cleans up nicely).

Stove working well after induction learning curve. Water boils fast, because top does not get hot there is no mess to scrub off if something spilled on the stovetop. Must hold panel buttons to get to burns to light, punching them wont work. So far so good, let's see how turkey cooks.

I was raised using a gas appliance but have had electric stoves most of my married life. We tried a countertop induction cooker and loved it, which is why we chose the induction range with convection bake. It heats faster than electric and as fast as gas. It only heats the area directly beneath the pan and none of the surrounding area. The only downside is we can't lean up against the front as it will start beeping as it tries to turn on but can't as it's a two-step process.

Have waited and watched for almost a year to find a good induction range for less than $1000 and finally took a chance on this model. I am quite pleased with the purchase. Delivered and arrived as indicated. After reading other reviews, I thoroughly read the operating instructions and happily haven™€™t had any trouble navigating the controls. The timer and indicator sound letting you know oven has reached set temperature is quite soft so have to remember to listen for it. Also, wish the drawer on bottom was a bit larger and felt more durable. Overall, I am glad I went with an induction range and this model.

The convection oven works very well and adds the perfect crisp to my spanakopita. Even heat. I appreciate having a smaller eye up front! Heats up quickly and automatically shuts off. So glad the front surfaces is flat with an easy to use touch screen that is also easy to clean. Bonus it fit in my smaller galley kitchen perfectly without taking up unnecessary space. Love it

Good but sensitive control panel

Works well, but the front control panel is very sensitive. I did not realize how often I brush the front of my stove until now. It™€™s constantly turning off the burners so I have to adapt how I stand. I used to primarily use back burners, not I have to use the forward ones so I don™€™t touch the panel. Overall really good stove but I really wish it had haptic push buttons instead.

better looking than the 'professional' model it replaced

We bought very expensive kitchen appliances 6 years ago, and already had to replace the range because repair parts are not available. The microwave is next, it sounds like a UFO landing if you nuke something more than 4 minutes. Since major appliances seem to have a much shorter lifespan than in the past we agreed to buy budget models. Our new Frigidaire induction range was on sale for less than $1000. We've had it 2 weeks now and used every element and feature except the self-clean. We will never go back to gas or 'regular' electric! Water boils in no time, foods cook evenly, and the surface does not get hot and is super easy to clean. Fortunately, our pots/pans were good for inductive, but we did have to buy a new griddle. This range is better looking than the 'professional' model it replaced. We like everything about it better, and if lasts one year it's a better deal (we expect it to last longer than that).

I replaced a gas range with this convection one. One of the best decisions I have ever made. it is even better than the elective Frigidaire I had in a prior home. it heats up so much quicker than both and it is a breeze to clean. I just have to be careful not to scratch the ceramic surface. I also cannot use some of my pans. but that is a small inconvenience. I just hope the electronics lasts, given prior experience that is the only part susceptible to fail soon.

The controls are a little difficult to understand, but I'm used to a 30 year old range that had knobs instead of push buttons. Now that I've used it a while, I like it very much. The induction heats up much faster than the conventional electric burners and the temperature control seems to be more accurate.

I bought an induction range now that the grandkids are tall enough to reach the burners. The electronic controls can be locked and the ™€œburner™€ cools within a minute. I had to purchase some induction pans since some of my current pots were not magnetic. Slight negative is the quality of the bottom drawer. It is thin aluminum and is not robust enough to hold much and seems lopsided. Overall very happy customer

I bought this range because we moved and I had to leave my really nice range. I got this on sale and thought it was like my other one, without the air fryer, which we rarely used anyway. I was disappointed. It™€™s not as ™€œcomplete™€ as the first one, but the start button is nice because you can wipe down the front without turning on burners™€¦.but™€¦the burners are too small. The bridge thing isn™€™t really helpful either. Doesn™€™t heat the pan evenly. The controls are different too. And it doesn™€™t have quick clean/steam clean. It appears to have the same quality, but it™€™s just average. I guess that is what you get for $1100 as opposed to $1700. Anyway, I™€m getting used to it. Just doesn™€™t feel as upscale as the other one. Quality is good.

I purchased the whirlpool induction range because I trust whirlpool and the price/value relationship is high. That said, I do find the layout and operation of the controls to be less than optimal. They are on the front of the range and not easily viewed and/or accessed for taller people. Reorienting them would be worth considering.

The stove looks nice and heats water very fast. It cools quickly once turned off. The oven works great. It heats up very fast as well and cooks things evenly. I just wish the display and oven vent were located higher up above the stove top. Our 2 years keeps pushing buttons and things can fall into the vent easily since they are so low.

Great, fast induction range. Keeps heat even and has a wide range of power levels. Touch surface is easy to clean, but has too many steps to turn on burners and is sometimes non-responsive if your hands are wet.

Owned for two weeks and so far, it's operating to my expectations. Burners are easy to control and heat evenly. Oven temperature seems consistent throughout and bakes well. Controls are easy to bump when reaching across cooktop and can accidentally turn off, so be cautious of that. Overall, I am pleased with the range and its performance.
